V	V on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I was a kid, I used to love to sing but I was told I was pretty awful at it by some adults. I really internalized the criticism and was terrified to sing for nearly 20 years. A couple months ago, I woke up and decided to say to hell with those miserable people from my childhood, I was going to learn to sing. I found Kim from google and started taking lessons. Kim is the best. She is kind and patient. She is helping me to get over my fear, and I am already starting to improve. She has been giving me exercises to help my weak areas, and she helps pick out songs for me to practice. I also appreciate her flexibility. We are able to do zoom lessons during the pandemic, and her online scheduling system is easy peasy. Highly recommend.

The specific support and patience, attention to detail and encouragement she shows her students makes it possible for us to not only truly believe we are capable of anything but I have never been more willing and inspired to grow. I moved away from Kelowna a few years ago and still use her exercises and lessons daily, they continue to move and shape my voice and who I am as a person has been so enhanced.

I used to be a self-proclaimed terrible singer, but after a year of working with Kim, I actually believe that I will be skilled and confident enough to perform one day! As a teacher Kim is very upbeat, positive, and encouraging; she celebrates all of your progress, big or small! There is no shortage of easy-to-follow practice exercises, and she is great at selecting songs for your vocal range that will be challenging and fun, keeping in mind your musical taste and interests. I am an amateur guitarist, and Kim is mindful of this. She assigns songs for me to sing that will be good for me to learn to play and encourages me to put my vocal and guitar skills together. If you show up and put in the work, you are definitely going to see results! Kim is my vocal teacher, but the mentorship I found with her has been invaluable in my development as a musician, not only as a singer.
