★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in to buy minnows and to browse. The clerk had zero personality. Not in the least bit friendly. May have spent more time and money if he was helpful or friendly. Bought minnows regardless and they were 50% dead within the hour by time we reached the cottage. Took them immediately to the bait pail on our arrival. This dude is not interested in customer service. Might as well close his doors, no interest in the customer. I will NEVER set foot in this place again.

I like him, he knows all about fishing and tackle.
Minows selections are great, every time I asked for 3" minnows he takes extra time to get it for me.
Allof you who questioned his personality go somewhere else!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been there many times, but why after walleye opened would you be closed at 5? Majority of people are finished work at 5 and want to fish after work/dinner. I went today being May 24 '22 and he was closed at 20 to. The one time I get a chance to be home before 5 and the only bait shop within half hour of home is closed before they say they are. The gentleman is very knowledgeable and has an understanding of the art but his attitude is awful. If you're passionate about fishing you should love your job.
