β β β β β Great food. Katsu means fried chicken so most dishes are based on that. There sauces are what add the flavor. I orderd loins with original gravy. My friend got fish with original gravy. Both had good flavor. They have 10% on cash offer going on.

β β β β β Katsuya has some of the best Korean Katsu in the GTA and they're always so consistent. They make their bread crumbs in house and the Katsu is always made fresh to order. They've been offering 30% off takeout on cash payments during most of the pandemic.
Tip: you can get one extra serving of rice and cabbage salad for no extra cost when you do take out.

β β β β β Came for a lovely dinner with a friend of mine. Definitely hits the spot if you are looking for somewhat decent rice with pork chop. So tasty would recommend the U-dons ! so savoury and cheesy ! A++ would came back !

β β β β β In love with this Katsuya location in Scarborough! The interior is so cute and cozy with the hanging lights! The Japanese Katsuya creamy udon was sooooo delicious! Yummy with a kick!

β β β β β So far, this is the best Japanese restaurant we've visited (for the tonkatsu) here in Canada. We've come here three times, and each time we've had a fantastic meal. We started with cheese crab meat croquettes and takoyaki, and then moved on to the carbonara, red carbonara, teri mayo, and honeycomb katsu. I prefer the red carbonara because I don't get tired of it like I do with the others.

β β β β β The service was good. The Chicken Karaage Thighs were nice and crispy. The sauces that came with the karaage were also great. The spicy Korean sauce was my favorite. The Terri Mayo Katsu was delicious as well. I wish they had dessert. Will definitely be back again.

β β β β β Been here several times and their katsu always soo good! Highly recommend cheese crabmeat croquette and fries with honey butter powder for appetizer!! My fav katsu are red carbonara and teri mayo!

β β β β β Way better than we expected. We were pleasantly surprised with it. It is as authentic as it gets. Good portion size and reasonable prize for less than 20. Amazing how even the dressing of the salad and the sauces added so much flavour. We had the chicken katsu and the cheese katsu and it was really delicious. Katsuya is now our forever katsu restaurant.
