A friendly place with good "home-made" feel to the food. The breakfast sandwich was one of the best I've had in a long time, and the cookie-to-go was top drawer - like one my mother used to make.
They kindly filled my water bottles.
NB: Closed Sundays (as is pretty much every other food place in Millbank, Milverton, Monkton and Walton).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in on Friday and were very pleased with the fish and chips! A generous and delicious portion at a great price.... and a yummy piece of homemade pie for dessert! Definitely would recommend you stop in and enjoy a hot fresh homemade meal!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best food around! They have soup and sandwich specials for lunch and a daily dinner special every week day including a chicken wing special on Friday evenings. It's counter service restaurant great for families or couples. Great for takeout or you can dine-in their comfortable, clean seating area. Be sure to check out the cool, historic photos on the wall!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'd say it wasn't anything fancy or much. We drove over 2.5 hours originally to go Country sisters which didnt advertise online anywhere they close for a week for vacation. So that is how we ended up at Karen's kitchen going by Google maps and nearby diners. Karens kitchen came up at the very top and so we made our way there. It was a small crowded space and quiet service. The girl at the cash register was sluggish and appeared like she didn't even want to be working. She had an impolite attitude and acted like she had no interest in interacting with people while taking our order. She didn't ask if we were ready to order or what would we like. She didn't ask how'd we like our eggs cooked and didn't ask if we'd like anything else. Tim Hortons employees are more upbeat and ready. There was no sausage option for the eggs and toast breakfast. When it's just a wrap with no side fries even veggies n dip. Portions were small for the price. Nothing tasted special.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've had the toasted western a couple times, and the bacon cheeseburger a couple times along with poutine sometimes. Consistently good on all counts. More gluten-friendly options would be nice (my wife can't eat wheat, so about the only thing she can have is a salad as even the fries are wheat-coated) but I know that's a big ask in a small town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped by briefly when on a delivery to Milverton, and had a BLT on white with a coffee. The BLT was stocked, and the freshly brewed coffee hit the spot.
Had a nice bright environment on the inside, and similar to other reviews - definitely nails that homemade feeling. The lady at the front was very polite, and it seems fairly busy on occasion with people picking up orders. Fairly generous parking on the street and around the residential area close by.
