Hi! I’m Kara.  Mom to two beautiful girls, overly compassionate, food lover who always just wants to have a good time.

I am a romantic at heart and met my husband when I was 15—we have been together ever since, and he is truly the best.  When we had our first daughter, I decided that I wanted to make a change so I could be at home with her as much as possible.  I had dabbled on and off with photography since high school and finally decided to take the leap and start a career in it which has lead me to where I am today.  I feel so incredibly honoured that people choose me to document some of the most cherished moments of their lives.

Time is a thief who steals our little moments and then we tend to forget.  That is why I do what I do.  I want to preserve these special moments in time for you.  I want you to look back at your photos and remember the feeling of that day.  Besides real memories, a photo is one of the only tickets back in time to a different reality.  They are so important, and they will be cherished by not only you but those who come after you.

I want my clients to be able to be their authentic self’s-in love, passionate or silly, and to be up for anything!  Don’t be afraid to get dirty, go bare foot and just let your hair blow in that wind.  Let me do the worrying and the stressing for you.  I am an open book and will be there for you every step of the way!
