Sandra Clarke from Compassionate k9 was literally the most positive experience i have received from any trainer. Oakley my beautiful German shepherd husky is very reactive, she has been attacked by dogs off leash in the past and hasn't been the same since. Just when we lost all hope I met Sandra Clarke, not only did she teach my dog but she also taught me a lot of valuable information. I know my dog needed positive reinforcement after having a discussion with Sandra. I am so glad i did not go to a trainer who uses shock collars this would of made the process a lot longer. I have had 3 appt with Sandra regarding Oakley's reactiveness towards dogs, and i will continue to go to these appts to better my dogs life. I have already noticed a big difference in Oakley's attitude towards dogs. Before appt with Sandra every time Oakley would see a dog she would shut down, if the dog came closer to comfort she would react aggressively. I contacted Sandra because i knew she would better my dogs life in the BEST/Positive way possible. I have already seen such a difference in Oakley's attitude. Every time she sees a dog from a distance she looks at them and will wag her tail ! The little things are so important. I know we have a long road ahead of us but Sandra has made me more aware of what Oakley is thinking at times and we are managing ALOT better with Sandra's information Myself and Oakley are really grateful for Sandra and enjoy every walk with her, we learn lots.
