Aleem is not only a creative and talented designer, he is so much fun to deal with. Always with a big smile, full of energy and very patient. At times I felt like he had a magic wand. He would move a few things around and, like magic, it would give a room a different feel and look. He is a natural at what he does. I also appreciated that he would respect our budget while ensuring that we got the end result that we wanted by providing cost effective options, do it yourself projects, etc... I would recommend Aleem for any design /redecorating projects, big or small.

If you're going to spend thousands of dollars on a reno project, then Kalu should definitely be your first choice. The tradespeople they know and use are reliable and professional. These are not random tradespeople they find but are people that have been working with them for years. .We were so glad to have found Aleem and Phyllis to do our basement! Quality of renovations must stand the test of time and Kalu's work excels in this. Our renovations are a little over 3 years old and STILL look like they were done just yesterday. Their design team is also a joy to communicate with! Sumiko is elite and takes your project very seriously. Aleem and Phyllis has built a elite team of designers and their Design Award NOMINATIONS YEARLY shows they are putting others on notice. Projects will always have bumps and delays and issues but to have someone like Aleem and Phyllis to discuss things and hash things out honestly made it way less stressful. Being up front and honest goes a long way. You can use someone else to do your renos and they will probably do just as good a job but you will miss out in meeting Aleem and Phyllis and working with them along with their design team. That was the delight! That's what we remember and are appreciative about.
