M	Marcia Halajeski on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If ever there was a perfect store for the woman who needs 'real' clothing that is functional, reasonably-priced and actually fits, this is the store. I have been shopping at Kali since 2007. It's kind of miraculous how any retail store stays in business in Vancouver, but Sonia and her team of friendly and knowledgeable associates makes shopping effortless yet extremely inclusive of different styles and peoples' budget. I love how when you go in the store, if they know your name, they greet you by it, and they make everyone feel special. Sonia is extremely welcoming, and I love going into the store, and how it constantly evolves, and keeps very current. Throughout the years, Kali is a Drive staple that has literally saved me with last minute gifts, my Christmas shopping, but most frequently, my own retail therapy. :) The dresses, scarves and coats that I have purchased at Kali have been the ones that are always in high rotation, for work and casual and not surprisingly, the items I get the most compliments on. :) Their brands like Gilmour have literally lasted me around 10 years, which speaks to how classic the clothing is. I cannot recommend this place high enough.

N	Nadia Grunwell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a disappointment! I have always loved this local shop, which I thought maintained ethical substance alongside beautiful products. Hence my dismay, when I recently purchased an expensive bed cover, which looked great for all of two weeks, and then was told by the owner Sonia, contradictory care instructions for a small part of it that had got a stain on it. "Just use a stain remover and cold water," she suggested. Even before I'd bought the item, she'd maintained that a "cold wash," was good enough. This product would not need to be dry cleaned. I followed her instructions, and the stain came out to my satisfaction, but so did the dye from the fabric! I was left with a patch of dark grey design that was now faded right in the middle of my bed cover. Sonia insisted that I pay for the dry cleaning of the cover to make sure that any residue of stain be removed, and then she would re-sell it. She didn't seem the least bit concerned about the fading, nor was she willing to reimburse me or give me credit for the whole cover, which is what I requested, as I wasn't happy with the quality of the fabric. I shan't return because of her poor customer service, and lack of honesty about how to care properly for her fabrics. Be careful.

I love the linen clothing, the baskets from Ghana, and the selection of local gifts. When I’m stuck for a gift I go to Kali for inspiration and I always find something unique.

Longtime owner operator present most days, welcoming to all & truly passionate about everything she has on offer. Certainly explains why this great store has survived speedbumps throughout its long residence on The Drive.

Beautiful products, reasonable prices, great sales, warm service, clothes that fit great and are locally designed - everything about Kali is a pleasure. So appreciative of how careful and thoughtful Kali has been about COVID precautions - through the pandemic its been one of the only places I've felt safe shopping as a high risk person.

They've decided to keep their mask mandate in place and I couldn't be more grateful. It seems too many businesses are putting profits over the lives and well-being of those in our community, so it is really uplifting to be in a space that is taking a small action that makes a huge impact on customer and staff safety. In addition, great curated collection of lovely pieces, and for all price points; my go-to place for the perfect gifts with great items starting as low as $10- really can't go wrong. So grateful to Sonia and the staff at Kali for doing their part to keep others safe; thank you for consistently lovely experiences :D
