I hired Mr. Melvin Marin to help me out with an issue that I had never expired before. I was facing a foreclosure on my condo. There were two choices for me offered by the lawyer. The first was a one-hour consultation and the second one a flat rate for the service provided by the Kahane Law Office.
As I was struggling to hire a lawyer to represent me during the court hearing, I had chosen the consultation only.
Mr. Melvin Marin was not only knowledgeable but also very helpful to explain to me how and what steps I should take during the court appeal. I attended the court trial and I was ready to speak in front of the Master.

He spent more than one-hour of consultation. He was willing to listen to me when I was preparing for the next trial as well. He was also interested in how the trial went.
I attended Court five times, I saved my condo from foreclosure, and I defended myself.
I hope I won't be in the same situation again, however, I can 100% recommend especially this lawyer as well as Kahane Law Office.

However, the overall process was good. Kahane Law Office and my lawyer (Melvin Marin) helped me through the entire process. The firm worked with me by answering questions, helping me get my documents ready and moving my documents to the final stages. I can't say enough and how thankful I am to be a Canadian. β β β β β I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at Kahane the first time!
I wasnβt sure what to expect however upon entering the building I felt comfortable right away and the receptionist was friendly and welcoming.
I was expecting to be told that I would have to wait as I was early for my appointment, that wasnβt the case at all, I was taken into a meeting room and given some paperwork to start filling out while I waited for Jeff to arrive, and to my surprise, he actually came in a few minutes later and was a pleasure to deal with!
My entire experience was relaxed and welcoming!
Not at all what I was expecting! I thought it was going to be one of those βbig cold clinicalβ type law firms. You know the ones, lol!
I would recommend this law firm to everyone!
Very professional, yet relaxed and friendly and warm!

Carey was excellent in assisting me and clearly explaining the procedure and how to proceed in a way that best suited me and my needs. Carey was very accessible and responsive to all my questions and provided thorough explanation. It was very reassuring to feel that your lawyer has your back and that your concerns are acknowledged. She was very effective in dealing with opposing councils demands and consistent changes in position.
