A Portfolio Manager with ScotiaMcLeod since 2014, Kaelen has made it his core focus to offer concierge services to his Clients and believes that the market for Wealth Advisors doesn’t focus on putting Clients first the way his team does.
Working with business owners, professionals, and agricultural clients who have built their wealth from the ground up – he resonates with their hard work ethic, having built himself from the ground up, too. Kaelen finished his Commerce Degree from the Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan in 2010. In addition to being licensed with IIROC, Kaelen holds his Charter in Investment Management (CIM) with a focus in Alternative Investment Strategies. With 11 years of industry experience, Kaelen is proud to have been nominated to Investment Canada’s top 40 under 40 for the past two years.
Kaelen has spent a large part of his professional career affiliated with local non-profit organizations and has made it a priority to focus on and help the Canadian Mental Health Association. Growing up with a parent who battled with mental health illness, he understands the importance of education, and community support to this important organization.
Kaelen is a voracious reader of financial information, avid outdoorsman, golfer, hockey player, snowboarder, and loves spending time with family; wife Tori, and two dogs, Hobbs and Salad. When he isn’t spending time working at his father’s ranch, Kaelen enjoys spending time at the lake and travelling with Tori and the pups.
