★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointing experience. The process caused extensive emotional suffering for both myself and my children. It dragged on for 4 months. Simple changes to documents took weeks. I believe the system, perhaps just my mediator, gave false hopes to our family and allowed my spouse to dominate the process and hurt my children. I would hope that other families receive upfront information prior to beginning the process so that they are better-able to weigh the potential consequences that this mediation might have - as well as provide reasonable timelines for processing and receiving information.
