★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were in Cold Lake for the night and stopped for breakfast on the way out of town. So glad we did! The service was outstanding, and the food was delicious! Waffles are surprisingly light and fluffy, and the hollandaise sauce is amazing. And they make it in house. Will definitely be my breakfast spot any time I'm in Cold Lake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m confused on the rating this restaurant currently has. Either they are paid for, or people have lost their sense of taste during the pandemic. Also, $$ for pricing makes me laugh with a basic breakfast costing over 20$. But hey, if you want a half size they can do that, for 2-3$ less… 60$ Breakfast for two people is a small price to pay to learn this lesson I guess.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my wife’s favourites is Johnny waffles down on the outdoor patio overlooking beautiful cold lake marina. The food is amazing and unique, who doesn’t like waffles. The staff is incredibly accommodating. They also have an ice cream booth for families to get a scoop will walking along the marina dock. What a great locally owned restaurant!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was good, not the best I've ever had, but good. Arrived lukewarm. The staff were amazing. The manager and a young guy served us and were the nicest. It was so beautiful sitting on the marina eating breakfast. I truly enjoyed myself.
