β β β β β It's a small no frills store located at the corner of the intersection. This means public transit to the door and it has its own free parking lot next to it. Setup and prices are typical of no frills and it was overall clean and staff were helpful if you needed to find anything. I don't believe there are shopping carts (at least I don't recall seeing any) though and the only thing they had were hand held baskets. Wish these places would learn from Asian supermarkets and get those tall wheeled baskets.

β β β β β It's a small store, so fewer options, but it's nice when you need the basics and aren't forced to walk past isle after isle of homewares etc. just to get to the milk.

β β β β β Three days ago we accidentally bought lactose free milk that expired that day. My milk is over double in cost.
It takes almost six weeks for it to expire.
The meat department is horrific.
Produce is no better.
Which is unfortunate because I live close.

β β β β β A smaller store but it's a good place to stop if you're on the way home and in need of staples because they stock all the basics. I needed eggs, hamburger buns and tomatoes this trip.

β β β β β Nothing good to say about this place. Itβs filthy, the fridges are too small to keep the meats fresh, they have the bare minimum of stockage and you have to take 5 other trips to complete your meal.
If youβre one to seek out deals at No Frills then go to another location because they prolly donβt got it ?

β β β β β Went to this No Frills today (Johnβs) at Victoria Park and Lawrence to purchase gift cards as I had a doctors appointment across the street. Although, Iβm a PC member they wouldnβt sell me the gift cards until I showed them my drivers license. They took my drivers license name and number and wrote it on their copy of the receipt. I left feeling quite skeptical about the reason they need my personal information. I called the No Frills customer service and she insisted I return to the store and have the manager give me the receipt with my personal information. Just as I thought No Frills isnβt allowed to request personal information from me specifically, if Iβm a PC Express member. So why did they? Apparently, they donβt have a phone number thatβs accessible to the public so I canβt even call there. I guess I should have a conversation with my lawyer, prior to returning there and requesting they destroy the receipt with my info.

β β β β β Small store but decent selection of basics, including veggies and fruit that are usually quite fresh. I go in the mornings before it gets busy, so it feels pretty relaxing with no line ups. Cashiers are all wearing face masks, along with most customers. During the pandemic I prefer smaller stores that aren't busy in the mornings.
