Jerry's Concrete - East Saint Paul

Jerry's Concrete was recommended to us by a business that built us an amazing gazebo last year. It was one of several quotes we received to have a sidewalk installed from our back parking pad around to the front of our home. Jerry's won the bidding because of their down-to-earth approach, ability to recognize issues that we needed to address, flexibility in delivering what we wanted, and general accessibility when we needed to reach out with questions and concerns. A very impressive and professional team, from Jerry himself who did the quote and followed up on the project, the workers who were specialized in each aspect of the job along the way, right through to the accounting department. We could not be happier with the end result. Go with Jerry's, you will not regret it!

The workmanship and company is top notch from the estimate by Pete to the daily schedule updates provided by Mike and Jake to keep me informed of which crew is expected on site. Important to me is the fact that each crew cleaned the area when the work was completed and were very efficient. I also value that the owner, Jerry will pay a visit to close this job and get my feedback and any specific questions or concerns that i would have. I highly recommend using Jerry's concrete for any home concrete work...well done and very satisfied with the final product and service provided by Jerry's team. The final product is impressive and adds to the curbside appeal of my home!!

We are very pleased with the work that Jerry's Concrete did for us. We provided them with a detailed diagram of what we wanted and the result was a fantastic job within a reasonable timeframe and for a reasonable price. The project involved replacing an existing cement driveway and sidewalk with pavers and pouring a new pad for our AC and included both paver and cement work. They took care of everything including having the AC disconnected, moved and reconnected and filling the gaps between the new driveway and sidewalk with top soil. Jerry was excellent to work with - very responsive to our many inquiries and many changes and full of ideas to make the end result better than we originally expected. We are very happy that we selected Jerry's Concrete to do this work for us and would highly recommend them for similar projects.

Jerry's Concreate is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. They were redoing our front and back steps but when I came back home one day they left the front and back steps demolished with no way back into the house. I would strongly NOT recommend this place to anyone who wants to get their sidewalks/stairs renovated.

They made concrete drive way recently. I like the work quality, customer service, and completing on assigned time .Generally speaking, they do excellent job.

Jerry refused to refund my clients cash deposit after no-showing for the estimate a week before construction . There was a Lack of paper trail; a company that doesn't allow documented payment is a red flag. There was a lack of accountability among supervisors, when they didn't show for the estimate or respond to my customers concerns in a timely manner, I asked the client to get the deposit back. Jerry returned my clients phone call after the no-show and request for refund. On speaker phone I heard him refuse the refund, Argue about the consumer protection act and then threaten my client with a "lawyer". Once the lawyer was mentioned, I spoke up and Jerry quickly offered to return the deposit after getting told that he could not defraud a 70 year old couple of 2000 cash after providing zero services. Wonder what else Jerry cuts corners with? Always ask for documentation: make sure they know what being "Duly Diligent" means.

I bought a brand new build in 2016 and the week we moved in, it became very apparent that the concrete on our front porch was poured incorrectly; water was pooling and sitting for a long period of time after the rain. After over 200 emails, multiple attempts of the builder attempting to ‘patch’ the mistake, I was finally allowed to look for a company to do what they couldn’t, fix my porch. That’s when I found Jerry’s Concrete and I couldn’t be happier. I live in a side-by-side so I share my porch with my neighbor and tearing out the whole thing and re-pouring was not going to be an option (or at least an inexpensive one and the builder denied that quote), so I was looking for an epoxy type cover that would help the dip in the porch, level it out, and cover the hideous ‘patch’ up jobs the builder did. I went with a mini pearl colour, which beautifully matches my house. I was provided samples for both the rubber and natural stone but this one fit so perfectly! I was contacted in late April by Jerry and set up a date in May to have the front porch done; communication was amazing – if I had a question, it was responded to within a day. I never felt that I was being missed or forgotten. The day came and wow. Just WOW. I am so, so happy with the final product. As I mentioned, the porch is shared with my attached neighbor, and they did a phenomenal job with creating a crisp, clean line of the natural stone between my neighbors’ porch and mine. However, after she saw the finished product she wanted hers done too! They took their time and the quality of the final product reflects that. It is smooth, sharp around corners, and has a little bit of a sparkle to it when the sun sets. There was an issue with the product not sticking to the vertical part of the stair (riser), which was brought to my attention immediately and I was informed that the next sunny day (it rained two consecutive days after – of course) that they would return and redo that portion of the riser. They did, and it looks even better than I thought it could. Oh! And did I mention it comes with a warranty?! I couldn’t be happier with the experience I have had with Jerry and his team. They are true professionals that made the end of journey of having my front porch repaired very satisfying. I highly recommend them.
