Well stocked, tidy and exceptional staff. Will actually go out of their way to help you find something (unlike the surely old bags who work at Broadview Lawblaws).

This is one of my favourite all-round grocery stores. They have a wide variety of products, the produce is fresh, they are relatively inexpensive, and there is always parking.

Although we live in midtown, we go to this No Frills because of it's cleanliness and more organized experience. In short, it provides a more positive shopping experience. Something uncommon when shopping at a discount grocery.

Today it was incredibly busy. Long lineups. It's not usually that bad. It is much better than it used to be in terms of quality. That is since the new owner 'Jeff' has taken it over. Today he was working the till, you would never have seen the last owner do that. I recommend this store.

It is a nice place and usually quiet it is also bigger than food basic at Gerrard square...the day I was there most of the items I wanted they did not have...very basic vegetables...a lot of empty spots everywhere...when I asked a staff member...they explained it was the snow storm and delivery problems...yet they had approximately 10 skids of toilet paper. The cashiers need to be retrained as they are the final ones customers interact with some are rude and some are okay.

Grocery stores have made record profits during covid, but this No Frills now requires loonies to use a cart. The owner doesn't want to pay an employee to manage carts during the day, so this issue has been externalized to customers. Same with stocking shelves or leaving large pallets of inventory throughout the store - pay people to come in before the store opens to do this instead of inconveniencing customers. Less hours are higher profits for someone, I guess. I didn't think these aspects were frills, but I guess I was wrong. I was going to give 1 star, but I think 2 is fair as the store is one of the cleaner No Frills I've shopped at. Edit: Updated from 2 to 1 Star. During my last visit there were only 2 cashiers with lineups, so I went to the self check out. Apparently you now need to ask for grocery bags. Jeff seems to be really worried about theft, but these types of policies only impact paying customers. I wanted to give this place another chance, but I won't be back.

My favourite a No Frills in the area. They are consistently well stocked and have a good South Asian selection in all departments. They can be quite busy at peak hours, so be ready to line up if you aren't doing self check unless you can go when it's quieter.
