I live in the Elora & Fergus area where we have many excellent artisans.. so I've been developing an eye for interesting art.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really enjoy Jeff Dillon’s art. He uses a technique that I have not seen anywhere else. Up close a painting can look almost abstract, but take a step or two back and there is an entirely different feel. I love any of his paintings that include trees, but my absolute favourite is Diamond Pine. It brings back fond memories of my years living in Northern Ontario where the pine trees literally grow through rock. They are a symbol of strength and persistence, standing strong even when bent in the wind. Jeff has perfectly captured all of this with a beautiful sky as a backdrop.

My Spiritual Messenger piece is an ode to my Mom's favorite bird..and Jeff has presented it beautifully! My second purchase was Fire Mountain because it reminded me of one of the runs at Mont Tremblant! Jeff brought it to life magically! I look forward to more of Jeff's beauty in my home in the future. He has so many pieces I love!

I found Jeff’s amazing work on social media and was instantly mesmerized. Every picture is such a beautiful piece of work. I was lucky enough to get Morning Mist and love the description, “A bright morning sunrise, filled with the hope of a new day.” I think he is capable of translating his words into art that can be understood in any language. The longer you admire each piece the more you will see. I’m excited to have been gifted another painting from my family this Christmas and will share when it arrives. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A family friend had shown us Jeff's work a few years ago and my wife and I really love how he paints wildlife. We needed a large work for our central fireplace but didn't find any artwork that really spoke to us.
Then this spring we had some owls visit our trees beside our deck. We knew we wanted to see what Jeff could do with our story and pictures to really capture that moment and he came up with this wonderful piece of art.
I cannot recommend him enough. The process of getting it commissioned went very well and we are very happy with the resulting piece. It brings back great memories every time we walk by.
