C	Clayton Dorcas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jayman Summerwood provided us with a beautiful home and then seemed to vanish when it came time to deficiencies. They promised to correct issues around our 1yr mark... now coming up on a year since the promise and we have neither heard or seen a soul. New homes keep going up, so it's not like they don't have trades to pull from, but whoever is in charge of deficiencies should be immediately fired. Pretty sure if head office in Calgary knew how poorly their name is being abused here they would likely make changes. We have concrete work that was promised to be corrected, frost is coming soon and still nobody. We have an exposed wood piece that has remained unpainted for almost 2yrs. With all the other builders available do your research and go with the one who actually stands by their promises. We could have spent $650000 with another builder who values you... lip service is cheap!
R	R “Nick” C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not Happy. It is my understanding that Jayman will complete the final grade within a reasonable time in order for the homeowner to do the landscaping. We took possession of the home in July 2019. Is waiting for 12-months (and counting) reasonable? As long as this post is still here then it means that Jayman has not FULLY completed their end of the agreement yet. The agreement includes the final grade and any construction work covered by the homebuilder's warranty. I will take down this bad review once work is fully completed but will save a personal copy if issues arise in the future. Anyone reading this can decide if this has been a great service or not. I would like to document my experience thus far. Aug 18/20 UPDATE: I have decided to post photos of my yard as the weeds continue to grow... Aug 19/20 UPDATE: weeds are gone ! Thank you for removing the weeds (updated photos attached). Sep 8/20 UPDATE: I have been told that final grade approval has been issued. Alora-Brie and Amber from Jayman have been very helpful (thank you!). I have changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars. My next update will be upon completion of minor warranty repairs scheduled on Sept 15th. Jul 11/21 UPDATE: concrete pad still not fixed. My landscaping project that started in 2020 cannot be completed because Jayman has not fixed the concrete pad yet. Photo is attached. Jul 12/21 UPDATE: email received from Jayman. Timeline to complete concrete pad repair not provided. Been waiting for two years...
V	Vince Huynh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have no complaint for the sale team.They are great.Purchase spec home,house is building now and just finished foundation.I would like to upgrade or get some credit from the standard fridge and range to choose my own (same equipment size) but they do not deal or do anything about it.Jayman is only builder i would like to go with ,same like my friends and family.However,it changes my mind now and i may not recommend to them because the way they do it.Not flexible.

I need to work on some touch-up work for my house but I couldn't find the matching paint. I went to the Desrochers show home and met Hillary Marsden and Willy. They have been tremendously caring and patience. They tried their best to solve my questions although I'm not their customer. I really appreciate their help and would like to recognize their above and beyond customer service!

The value they are able to provide in their homes made it an easy decision to build a second home with them. Getting all the energy efficient features and solar panels included in our home ensured our confidence that we are getting the best home suited to our specific needs. Building during Covid made some things unpredictable but the transparency that Hillary from the Desrochers community was able to provide created a trusting bond and Jayman did a very good job following through on the promises they made. Hillary was very accommodating in regards to personal changes, needs and timelines that we presented her and she was so patient and reliable throughout the entire process. She presented such a calming demeanor as an area manager that we did not feel any pressure when going through the whole process. I was very impressed how Hillary was able to find solutions for all the customizations that we wanted. All in all, Jayman Built and Hillary provided excellent customer care and made building our second home such a joyous memory.
