It's a beautiful place to visit, we visited by rental car and from calgary to Jasper it was such a good experience to watch so many beautiful places on our route. Could not imagine we could cover so much in 4 days in short trip and fifth day back to Toronto. Must go once if you are a nature lover.

Great location to experience and learn about glaciers. On the day that we visited the opened an exhibition about glaciers and the effects of global warming. Very interesting when you are there.

An unforgettable experience, and a must visit when in Jasper National Park. You can visit on your own for free, but if you take part in the tour, you'll visit the midpoint of Mt. Athabasca for a 30 min free roaming around before tou go back to the bus station and a bus will take you to the Skywalk. On the bus, the driver acts as a tour guide pointing out important locations and their background. Makes sure to wear lots of layers of clothes as on Mt. Athabasca is very windy and cold.

Amazing place with a lot to do. It's easy to spend a few hours here. We drove across the street and walked to the toe of the glacier. Awesome info center downstairs.

Getting back from this experience felt strange. The tour and the staff were all amazing and knowledgeable, the trip ran like clock work, the drive to and from the glacier is very quick the vehicles very safe and comfortable. On the ice field an area has been bulldozed to create a football pitch ish clearing on which you can walk safely. On the day I went there was snow falling so the ice shelf wasn't visible clearly but it was still immensely impressive to stand on the glacier. What felt strange is being so amazed at the glacier but seeing such a large area removed to create space for the vehicles, how deep the tires tread dug into the ice, the amount is was melting with puddles everywhere. From this patch you could see people taking a guided tour walking on the ice not disturbing it at all. Don't get me wrong the ice over by the people walking was still melting it was clear to see. But after doing this experience I would not do it again and I feel taking huge vehicles to the glacier in this way and removing the surface snow is not what we should be doing with what we know now. Glaciers growing and disappearing has happened throughout earth's history that isn't in question. But we can and should try to slow the rate at which we lose them given what science tells us will happen when the planet warms so I would urge people to do this ice walk instead. That way you can experience everything but leaving that much smaller footprint.

Experience of a lifetime. Booking in advance you don't have to wait in line. Once you land at the discovery centre, you have to stand in line 15 before your bus leaves to take you to the Ice explorer. You have to spend 25 minutes and then they transfer you to the Skywalk. Earlier the better. Carry water and food as things are expensive. No washrooms once you get on the bus. It takes about two hours. Dress warmly as the glacier is cold and wear proper shoes.

What an experience. Carry good jackets because it's very windy out there. The trip on the bus to the glacier was wonderful. It is best to go here in mid or late summer. We paid for the skywalk too which is nothing much to write about but I guess some people might like it.

One of the best place ever visited. Like a heaven. This place is really awesome. View is breathtaking. It is more beautiful then the videos and pictures. At least Once in a life, I really recommend. Weather is changing anytime so we have to be aware of weather before heading.
