G	Gina THE MTL GAL on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was transported back to Japan!! Every dish was prepared and presented with care. The meal was wonderful! I had the 7-course meal, all is chosen by the very talented chef, Omakase style.There is an extensive sake list to choose from. My friend and I were presented with a huge basket from which to choose our sake glass. Nice touch! Reservations are a must. You will not be disappointed!!

And The environment is quiet and clean but I feel a bit cold. The Iwaki dishes are 39 dollars before tax. I come with my friend, we think the amount of food is not enough for us.

However service is too slow, it took more than 3 hours to finish the meal. also judging from past photos, i think the menu hasnt change for at least 5 years.

The service is slow since he is the only chef and waiter. However, I truly didn’t mind since every plate was worth it. This was my second time going with my family, the menu didn’t change much but there are 3 menus for you to choose. Also, for the quality of the food, the price is incredible! You must come to this place, you will not regret it!!

The courses are all good some better than others and of course the menu changes all the time. The bathroom is an experience - it’s in the moldy basement and is like an old UK bathroom from the 1970s.

Highly recommend to try for date night or an outing with a friend. The owner/chef presents the food to you and explains each dish. Really a hidden gem in Montreal and a must try if you're looking for Japanese food that is different and authentic.
