★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place, well cared for.There is no charge for admission, although there is a donation box. There are a number of paths to stroll and some beautiful woodwork, like the traditional arch at the entrance.
Definitely worth a stop if you're on the island.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sucha beautiful park where you can find peace. I was alone as there wasn’t many people here that day but I would recommend if you come to mayne island to check the Japanese garden aswell!!

As a Japanese person, it was nice learning the history of a Japanese community on the island. I could go there just to relax for a couple hours. It was very peaceful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These gardens are beautiful. Very peaceful and serene with a stream and pond providing water to the lush plant life that has been planted in the area. Very cool historical information with a Japanese kiln and a bell that has awesome overtones.
Props to “The Gardener” who spent tons and tons of time on this amazing garden.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful little garden. About half a kilometre loop. Beautiful pond. Visited in December and it was decorated for Christmas with lights and baubles. Was enjoyable even in light rain. Free to enter, but donation box to help with maintenance costs.

Not wheelchair accessible; scooter is ok if you can get off and walk over a few small bridges and roots while someone pushes the scooter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rarely give 5 stars- I think we came right at the perfect time the garden was just spectacular...they even had horseshoes out and golf clubs with balls at the ready...and a Frisbee for Frisbee golf :)
