β β β β β When my mother passed in her home city of Vancouver, the proceeds from the sale of her house were not included in her estate. I felt it necessary to hire an attorney to find out why.
I'm a Canadian-born American and live in the States. An attorney friend gave me the name of Owen Bird Law Firm and I wrote them asking if they could help. A staff member passed my email to James Zaitsoff to see if he was interested in the case. Fortunately for me, he was.
Over the next couple of years Mr. Zaitsoff delivered professional and respectful assistance to me regarding my mother's estate. Through his thorough knowledge and perseverance, I feel that the distribution of her estate had been accomplished as she had written. I'm grateful Mr. Zaitsoff took my case in the first place and would highly recommend him.
It was intimidating for me to begin this journey but I feel I could not have had better representation.

Mr. Zaitsoff guided me through the difficult process of protecting my parents. He was professional, calm and considerate even when he received written abuse himself. His knowledge, and the knowledge of his colleagues, allowed me to freeze my parents' property until such time as a fair offer was received. There were twists and turns and, without the help of Owen Bird Law Firm, I believe the transaction would not have achieved a positive outcome for all involved parties.
