Jackson Square

I love shopping at Jackson Square! There is a wide variety of stores here that I love to shop at which are 1001 nights, Suzy shier, mumuso, gold and silver gallery, ardene to name a few. I find the prices at the stores here to be much more affordable than Limeridge mall. I’m sad however to see that Sirens & Urban Planet have closed as I used to love shopping at those stores. I will definitely be returning here soon!

Not quite sure why this mall still exists. It is in a very sad state. The food court is abysmal; nothing there looked worth eating. I was surprised at how busy it was - but maybe people have nowhere else to go. Nations, the grocery store, seems to be doing alright except that they don't seem to be selling hot food anymore. I'm only in Hamilton about once/twice a month, and it is on the scary side; this mall doesn't help.

Works in a pinch. Below average stores but can generally find what you need. Paid parking required. Good grocery store in Nations, an LCBO, and a theatre. Hamilton farmers market is good option there. Would choose other places of possible

People will tell you that Limeridge is the best mall in Hamilton, but that's only if you want to shop at all the usual places. Jackson has lots of unusual places. For a Pokemon Go player it also offers the best opportunity for indoor play in the entire city as there are lots of spawns and stops and even a few gyms within reach - more if you're willing to walk a little outside.

It is the center of Hamilton. There are no free parking or enough paid parking spaces close to it. It doesn't have plenty of shops. It is mainly services and cheap merchandise. It is not my favourite place in the city but it has some good markets for international food. Passport Canada is not there anymore.

The woman at customer service desk outside of Nations is rude and has absolutely no business having a job in customer service. This morning, at approximately 0927, I attended Jackson Square for purposes of visiting the passport office. I walked around the Plaza level for quite some time and was unable to location the office, so I approached the person at the customer service desk outside of Nations, off the Bay Street access, to inquire on the location. This individual, who I believe was a female - with short grey hair and thin eyebrows - proceeded to laugh at my inquiry, stating, ‘it is a holiday, and even if they were still here, they are CLOSED because it’s a Holiday’. I advised her that Federal Offices like Passports are in fact open and she continued laughing and speaking to me in a demeaning manner. I asked if there was a reason she was being rude to me and she continued to talk over me and point to a notice about the passport office. I reminded her that I approached her ‘customer service desk’ for assistance, not to be berated. Her interactions with me, the reactions, and tone of speech is indicative of an inability to regulate emotions and I do not believe someone of her volatility should be representing a company. I have never once encountered such a rude and hostile individual working in customer service. This was my first and now last time visiting Jackson Square. It is very unfortunate that someone like that represents your company. When I advised the woman she was being rude and this entire interaction was concerning, she proceeded to call me names and say ‘no, you’re rude!!’, in a childish manner and even as I was walking away. This is an adult, here - who was not acting like one. This is a problem. This person needs to be spoken to and reminded/provided with courses on how to speak to individuals in a respectful and courteous manner. This situation was appalling and sad and I literally cannot believe this situation transpired.

The mall on the inside is nice enough. Seems clean, good variety of stores, and the staff working at most of them are friendly. & around the mall is a bus station and other small restaurants which are amazing. The only issues at this mall is also the surrounding area.. high volume of homeless & people you generally wouldn't want to bump into late at night.. who also get into the mall at times and cause issues.

I enjoyed my time with my granson. We went for lunch. The market .I checked out alot of stores I even got some shopping in And took a rest at starbucks and enjoyed a drink..Their is entrances that wheelchairs can get in.Their are ramps you can go up and down aroun TD They have elevators to go upto what level you need. Great mall.
