★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Le premier contact s'est bien passé et le représentant m'a mis en confiance. J'ai finalement décidé d'y aller avec cette entreprise pour les rampes de mon patio. Lors de la prise de mesure et l'installation, c'est un sous-traitant, Balcon Corriveau, qui sont venus.
Malheureusement, il y a eu une erreur dans les mesures, de 2 pouces. Je comprends que ce genre d'erreur peut arriver. Par contre, j'ai demandé qu'on reprenne le travail et qu'on corrige l'erreur, et on m'a plutôt offert un crédit de 100$. Sur un contrat de 2700$, je trouve que ce n'est pas acceptable. Je fait normalement tout moi-même chez moi et j'ai justement donné ce contrat pour ne pas me tromper dans les mesures... eh bien c'est raté.
Je ne recommande pas cette entreprise, ni pour l'installation ni pour le service après-vente.
The first contact went well and the representative gave me confidence. I finally decided to go with this company for the patio railings. During the measurement and installation, a subcontractor, Balcon Corriveau, came.
Unfortunately, there was an error in the measurements, 2 inches. I understand that this kind of error can happen. However, I asked that we resume work and correct the error, and I was instead offered a credit of $ 100. On a $ 2,700 contract, I find that it is not acceptable. I normally do everything myself at home and I just gave this contract so as not to be wrong in the measurements ... well, it was a failure.
I do not recommend this company, either for installation or for after-sales service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nous sommes allés à trois reprises sur place chez J P Lauzon & Fils Ltée
afin de recevoir les bonnes informations sur leurs matériaux et comment prendre les bonnes mesures afin de les faire nous-même.
Sachez que lors de la dernière fois que nous nous sommes présentés sur place pour placer la commande. Le représentant ne nous donne même pas les mêmes informations que son collègue de travail, i.e la bonne mesure à prendre entre les colonnes, le délai de livraison et par dessus le marché, ils vous chargent 200$ pour prendre eux-mêmes la mesure. Nous m'étant de la pression que si nous leur remettons nos mesures, ils ne se portent pas garant.
Il va sans dire que nous sommes extrêmement déçus de leur manière de nous traiter et leurs prix excedent les compétiteurs qui vendent les mêmes matériaux qu"eux soit Aluminium distinction.
Nous ne recommandons nullement J P Lauzon & Fils Ltée.
We went three times on site to J P Lauzon & Fils Ltée
in order to receive the right information about their materials and how to take the right steps in order to make them ourselves.
Know that the last time we showed up on site to place the order. The representative does not even give us the same information as his co-worker, i.e. the correct measurement to take between the columns, the delivery time and on top of that, they charge you $200 to take the measurement themselves. We were under pressure that if we give them our measurements, they do not vouch for it.
It goes without saying that we are extremely disappointed with their way of treating us and their prices exceed the competitors who sell the same materials as them, namely Aluminum distinction.
We do not recommend J P Lauzon & Fils Ltée.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had Lauzon change 4 windows and our front door. Decent quality and looks mostly good, but unfortunately the work was rushed and thus the final result was less than ideal. I tried numerous times to have the issues resolved, but instead of fixing the issues I was given one excuse after the next. Ice forms on interior of our door (it never did with our old door), sloppy caulking lines (and they even caulked over old caulking!), etc. Basically lots of rushed sloppy work.
I tried to discuss these issues with the owner, as the employees wouldn't even let me speak with him! Look out for Daniel, he will make any excuse possible as to why things are not correct and how that's normal.
