J Hall Drafting & Design - Abbotsford

Absolutely terrible service. James is unorganized, unprofessional, lazy and full of excuses. I would not recommend him to anyone ever. I had spent many many weeks asking for my drawings and was very clear on what was needed and of course he couldn't deliver and was full of excuses why. He is terrible at emailing calling or texting back. His plans were nothing like what I had asked for. Terrible service! His place is a dump and he thrives on saying how busy he is and how much he has on the go. In reality he will lie straight to your face and then say it's your fault why the plans turned out the way they did and you should of known better. You would think after having multiple multiple meetings talking and explaining the same thing over and over he would get something right. I read the comment by Debbi Kobelt above and it is exactly word for word what I experienced. J Hall drafting is a joke. Do not waste your time or money with him you will be much better off!!

I was told the closer and more detailed description I gave the quicker I would get my drawings for permits. I gave this company a to scale drawing of what I needed which accommodated lot concerns and other details important to us. I spent weeks asking when I'd get my drawings. He sent the first draft. It was nothing like what I asked for and completely useless. He respected nothing of what we asked for. A while later I was asked for money before I could see next version. I paid him in good faith and came to his dump of an office. These drawings were actually worse than the first one. The layout issues I specifically addressed as not acceptable were still on the new drawings. The new version included additions on my home and absolutely did not want. I would call for an update and couldn't reach him. I would text no response. I would email and wait. He was exceedingly rude!! He did not listen to anything of what we needed. He did not stay within the timeline required. When he was told all of these concerns he decided to make personal comments completely out of line in an effort to bully me. His service was so bad that we had an expansion of the project for out buildings weeks ago and used a more reputable designer who gave us three options in 2 days. I heard numerous excuses from James. He took zero responsibility for his consistent disregard for the request for drawings that reflected the rough to scale draft supplied to him numerous times. He cared nothing about our timeline. He annoyed my builder and other contractors. I had to hire someone else to do the job. The project at this point had to be delayed due to weather as we did not get the drawings we paid towards from J Hall. . I would not recommend James Hall to do anything for anyone. And he made no effort to return the funds given to him even though he produced nothing useable in the time frame required due to his refusing to listen or cooperate. No one on my crew would ever give him a recommendation. James Hall is a complete waste of time and money!

Jason exceeded my expectations. Great co-operation, communication, and skill. He made the process super easy and fast and listened to what I wanted. My vision came out greater than I imagined thanks to Jason’s amazing service!
