After about a year, we met with Mike Hallmark of Island House Sellers to see if we should give him the listing. He showed up on time, nicely dressed in proper business attire and well prepared for the meeting. We agreed to list with him for a limited time provided that, if we sold the house ourselves, we would not owe him any commission. Mike was able to negotiate a sale quickly, nearly at the asking price. He also worked hard to salvage the deal when it looked as though it wasn't going to go through. We were very impressed with his business-like approach to real estate transactions and his willingness to propose alternatives even when it could result in less money in his pocket. Mike does what he says he will, hires excellent photographers, and is a good man to deal with.

I have worked with them a number of times and am pleased with the way my transactions have been handled. In a fast paced market like what is happening in Victoria it is important that you have someone working for you that is knowledgeable and on the ball when it comes to jumping on new listings and ensuring your home is marketed well - this team has a lot of moving parts but this ensures that things are accomplished in a timely and professional manner.
