★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enquired to island gm with a very specific request, basically found a pic of what we wanted and the options, other dealers weren't to interested. Not only did they find the exact one, they got it to me in 3 days.
Without a doubt the easiest vehicle I've ever purchased, staff were great, knew the product and very professional and friendly.
I'd recommend island gm above all others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have had nothing but problems with Island GM from day one. I came to pick up my vehicle with it not being ready, they had not put the heated seats in. This was after I was told it would be good to take home. Then when I brought it in there for servicing there was no car for me to use, this was after I was told I would get a car while mine was in the shop. They also had no one to drive me home so I had to pay for my cab back to ladysmith and then cab back when my car was ready. Now I find out the key needed to switch my tires was never put in my car and they are doing nothing on there end to track down the key or get me a replacement. I was told that I can bring it into there shop every time I need my tires switch.
Bottom line is I would never buy from them again. I feel very cheated on this car and that the dealership and salesman took my money and ran.
*updated* After writing this review Island GM has made it right with getting me the key I need to do my tires.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really excellent experience with this dealership. They were fast and efficient, I didn't have to wait around the dealership for hours like others.
I came in about an hour before closing and blake, my salesman helped me right away. He let me know they had the exact truck I wanted coming in. I put a deposit on it immediately.
He worked really hard to get my financing and vehicle all lined up. What I really loved about this process is I only had to come in once, everything was done by phone. ( I have a busy irratic schedule it's hard to make buisness hours work ).
I came in 3 days later on a Saturday, they had all the papers drawn up, we signed, got my financing in order, and the in house insurance agent set up an awesome policy for me. I was in and gone in two hours.
If there were issues or questions , they were handled asap.
I'm really impressed with this dealership. They made something that's usually painful and drags out ,into a smooth enjoyable experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent buying experience of a previously owned truck. Unfortunately truck had an issue, on the roof of all places so no one saw it. Dealership made it right and that's what's important. You can get a vehicle anywhere but who you buy from, can greatly change your experience. Very very happy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give them 10 stars I would. We came from Salt Spring Island this morning to have our ignition looked at. They were very kind, gave us a loaner car to run our errands and clearly explained what the problem was and what the next steps would be. It wasn’t until we were waiting for them to wash the truck that I realized that I was at the wrong dealership and didn’t have an appointment. They didn’t say a word and treated us like gold! We will definitely be back for service and buy our next vehicle there!! A great example of incredible customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I purchased tires and was very pleased with the customer service in the part department. They were pleasant to deal with and very professional. When my tires came in I received a phone call and was booked in the next day. The young lady in the service department was very good to deal with. The only negative I experienced was the price discrepancy from what the parts department quoted me and the additional amount charged by the service department for mounting and balancing. This not the first time that service department at this dealership charged more than what was quoted.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just recently purchased a new vehicle off the lot from Island GM. I dealt directly with Justin Strong and most of our deal was done over the phone as i live on the mainland. Dealing with Justin was very easy and he made things very simple, and was very accommodating when i showed up to the dealership with the whole family. Overall a great experience with the dealership, including their finance team and insurance as well. Highly recommend the team over there to help you find your next vehicle!!

I had several questions regarding the numerous buttons in my new truck and our salesman Blake took the time to explain to us what they were and how they worked. Best service I have seen in years. He also volunteered to help me with whatever issues came up. He said just contact me, I am here to help.. Pleasant staff and very helpful..
