★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic site that we chanced upon by accident.
Signage from main road could be improved though as we had to ask direction in the main street as signs were very poor there.
The trains are noisy...but infrequent. (Trains don't 'hoot' in the UK so for us it's something a bit 'quirky'!)
Water supply was too far for our RV hose to reach, but we managed! Had three weeks 'bimbling' around BC and into AB...have to say this site had the most genuinely friendly hosts of our entire trip...and this is the only site we chose to stay 3 nights because of that!
The municipal planting on the roadside leading into the 'town' is absolutely breathtaking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been tenting at the Irricanna Campgrounds for almost a month and Louise and Sid are wonderful Hosts.
The showers and bathrooms are always spotless.
Nice and quite and no parties..
Just peace and tranquil surroundings. I don't want to leave.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff was so kind and friendly, Louise is amazing. After six days on the road, it was great to be able to settle down and relax here. The grounds were clean, washrooms were great (showers were closed so we couldn't spend more than the night).
Plenty of space to run the dogs and play sports with family.
Train near by woke us up a couple of times but overall wasn't very intrusive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff here are super nice. Office is like a corner store without the over priced items. Fair prices on everything. Clean bathrooms with free showers. Spots are very very slim but lots of space behind with a nice field park..
Irracanna has an amazing kids park just down the trail in town aswell as a smaller park in the camp ground.
And the town pizza place delivers , the fas gas has really good treats and ice cream too

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice campground with power. Sani station is easy to access. Public washroom was a thing of beauty. It was just as clean as mine. This is wheelchair accessible as well. It was windy but in the evening it was calm. The sunsets are beautiful & nice trails to walk on. It would be bumby in a wheelchair as they are gravel. I saved the best for last! The campground hosts are absolutely amazing, friendly & definitely go above and beyond. Close to the city but far enough away to relax and enjoy a beautiful Alberta day. Have fun!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spent a lot of time at this camp ground in 2015 and loved it, it’s clean, quite , nice people there and not to busy. Walking distance into the quite,pretty little town of Irricana I was in Alberta working for NS and my son lives in Calgary so I use to stay at this campground when I was visiting. They have a great monthly rate decent size lots , baseball field , few places to sit and BBQ playground for kids. It was nothing to fancy but it was nice and peaceful there I actually miss that place and hope to visit again sometime if I’m ever in Alberta. Awesome meat shop in town too don’t bring any meats buy from the butcher in town trust me it’s worth it.
