★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took me over an hour to get out of north van today. Not uncommon. I hate that place and the absolute nightmare of traffic that this bridge and lack of other bridges causes. Not to mention the constant construction on the north end that never ends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not as stunning in design as the Lions Gate, but twice as wide for motor vehicles and it features great connections for pedestrians and cyclists. Stunning views of Burrard Inlet and the Lions, too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This bridge does an excellent job of getting traffic across the Burrard Inlet. The bridge starts on one side of the water and ends on the other side, which is exactly what a bridge should do. I would certainly drive over this bridge again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a bridge, no mystery there. This bridge ? was finished by 1960 and is 6 lanes wide. It is originally known as the Second Narrows Bridge. It was renamed in 1994 to its current name, Iron Workers Memorial Bridge to honour the loss of 19 lives when the bridge collapsed while under construction in 1958. It works well for its intended purpose, transporting vehicles ? from one side of the river to the other side. It is starting to show its age but regular maintenance keeps it in good condition. We had no problems going over the bridge.
