The crew that came in to demo and remove property stole items that were not damaged.
My fathers tools that were in the high thousands were stolen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had cancelled our insurance in May. Today we got a mail that they have terminated our insurance because we didnt pay for our insurance. And sent us a legal notice to pay $75. What is this nonsense when we had already cancelled our insurance and told them that we don't want to renew it. Why the heck are you guys charging us?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am going to say take your money and find another insurance company, I was a customer of more than 17 years and never ever made a claim. When I sold my house, they not only took a payment for something which I no longer own, but tried to take two payments, which almost amounts to a whole year of payment where I now live. I spent countless hours calling them and to now avail has it been resolved. I dont know of any insurance company that takes payments for an insured month after it has passed! I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau to make a complaint, my advise is if you ever have a claim, it would be pure hell getting anything from them! Yes 17 loyal years doesn't mean anything in this day & age! Take your money & run and find a more reputable company, ask friends for referals or research online, I wish I had done this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This company is the worst had a roof leak they only wanted to patch the job. So I redo the whole roof
With proper ice shield and water prof membrane
Then last year we we had water coming in again this time it was from the roof vents as per our contractor
So they canceled my house insurance because it wasn’t done properly.
Thank you for nothing besides take our money!!!
If you want to save money go to another insurance company they promise the world until they need to pay out!!! And they aren’t cheap!!! I’ve got quotes from other places and I’m saving $300.
Go elsewhere you’ll thank your self in the long run.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mother’s house which I was renting the basement of caught fire back in April sense then we have been moved from place to place they have tried to screw me over a few times now I get no return calls after calling them everything is a fight with them and on top of that they are now expecting my mother to pay me $448.00 for the 1972 Apollo record player that was destroyed in the fire when they did not know the value nor had it listed in the settlement. I’m at my wits end and am considering legal action. Needless to say when I go to buy my own house in a few years time I will under no circumstances be going with Intact. They have pushed my mother around sense day one and I find there treatment of their customers abhorrent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First thing they will do is accuse you for insurance fraud. From there, it will take forever to get some proper response. My case took almost a year. Very unpleasant with how they talk and treat you. Absolutely not recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience with Intact was absolutely terrible. I dealt with Geof sullivan, he does not answer or return ph. calls. He is rude and unprofessional. I called or texted him over 50 times with no response. Wendy Mckracken is Goef's manager I called her repeatedly, same thing no response. It seems to me the Intact corporate policy is to ignore their policy holders. If you use Intact insurance in Winnipeg, be prepared to be disappointed. unfortunately I have to pick 1 star to post this. they deserve no stars. Their where 2 intact employees that where good to deal with Jeanette and Meredith
