L'inspection fut des plus professionnelles et nous avons reçu une copie détaillée de l'inspection. Un très bon service je le recommande fortement. We had our house inspected in October 2016 by Inspection Markat. Serge was available very quickly. The inspection was very professional and we received a detailed copy of the inspection. A very good service I highly recommend it.

Tout s'est bien déroulé pendant l'inspection (selon mes connaissances inexistantes de ce qu'est une inspection en bonne et dûe forme), mais j'ai su par la suite qu'un inspecteur doit monter dans un grenier et Serge ne l'a pas fait, a seulement mis sa tête dans l'ouverture du grenier. Également, la toiture a été vérifiée avec une caméra avant mon arrivée et l'inspection n'a pas été fait convenablement. Le toit a été réparé de façon clandestine dans le passé et cela m'a causé des grosses infiltrations d'eau avec lesquelles je vis un cauchemar depuis bientôt 3 mois. Tous les gens qui sont passés chez moi (assureurs, contremaîtres, gens de la construction) m'ont demandé si j'avais fait faire une inspection et quand je leur ai confirmé que oui, ils m'ont tous demandé si l'inspecteur avait fait l'inspection les yeux fermés. Monsieur Dutrisac, au courant de la situation, nie toute responsabilité, refuse d'admettre négligeance, et affirme que ses anciens clients ont toujours été satisfaits alors c'est impossible que ce soit de sa faute. J'ai été mal informée et j'ai acheté une maison que je n'aurais JAMAIS acheté si j'avais su l'ampleur des travaux à y faire. Je vous recommande fortement de reconsidérer faire affaire avec lui. Serge was recommended to me by a friend for the pre-purchase inspection of my first home. I trusted him and I regret it bitterly. Everything went well during the inspection (according to my nonexistent knowledge of what a proper inspection is), but I found out afterwards that an inspector has to go up to an attic and Serge doesn't. didn't, just stuck his head in the attic opening. Also, the roof was checked with a camera before my arrival and the inspection was not done properly. The roof was repaired clandestinely in the past and this caused me major water infiltrations with which I have been living a nightmare for almost 3 months. All the people who came to my house (insurers, foremen, construction people) asked me if I had had an inspection done and when I confirmed that I had, they all asked me if the inspector had does the inspection with his eyes closed. Mr. Dutrisac, aware of the situation, denies any responsibility, refuses to admit negligence, and affirms that his former clients have always been satisfied so it is impossible that it is his fault. I was misinformed and bought a house that I would NEVER have bought if I had known the extent of the work to be done there. I strongly recommend that you reconsider doing business with him.
