★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our house had a Mighty Mule system on a double swing gate over the driveway when we bought the house.
It has been nothing but trouble for almost a year; board problems, randomly stops working, beeps incessantly in the middle of the night, and my personal favorite was when it started opening and closing by itself over and over again one night. Not reliable and not safe given we rely on the gate to keep the dogs contained. We needed something that we could trust when traveling and the dogs stay home.
Finally fed up with the Mule, I did some research and was delighted to find that CASIT made gate openers from Italy. I have had several houses with the brand, and nothing but good experiences.
Turns out these systems are channel controlled, meaning you are theoretically only able to buy them from an authorized installed. Fine, so I called the local place in Courtenay and found Innova Doors
Works flawlessly. Fast, QUIET compared to the mule, reliable.

Due to high storm season winds on our property the original openers they provided were not strong enough, causing the gates to malfunction. But Innova replaced them with strong openers at no charge and did everything possible to make sure I was satisfied. And I am. Very fair and reliable company and employees.
