★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was rejected into this program because the colour of my skin. Highly political and racist organization. They told me in the rejection letter it was because I was not ready for the “rigour” of university studies meanwhile I have and currently am completing four years at the university of Manitoba with a great GPA. This program is highly biased in my personal opinion. Be warned they will not accept you if your not indigenous.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ICSW has been life changing. I was trained in understanding different theoretical perspectives, and developed practical skills in the social work field through three work placements. ICSW has enhanced my life in numerous ways. I am grateful for the program.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came in with additional credits (no more then what they say is acceptable) and the program could not find me a class to take to fulfill the 3 course requirement for student aid. They told me the option could be to drop for not having adequate funding. This program is not favorable to those coming in with credits. The advisor was not at all helpful in looking for possible solutions and courses so I could fulfill my requirement, she only stated that students in my position drop out of the program. The advisor didnt even know where to access the course catalogue!!!! It was very unsupportive. I was already in the program and a week into orientation.
