Not as advertised on the photos, average filipino grilled food when compared to others, not the same as what you get in the Philippines for obvious reasons, in fact why post photos of online grilled foods from the Phils? where's the Purefoods TJ HotDogs? very deceiving lol!

Heres my review on the Filipino Grill Restaurant where they served at The Kalayaan festival in Mississauga on Saturday July 26, 2014. I brought my boyfriend and a friend to The Kalayaan festival in Mississauga to experience their first time Filipino festival since he's from Ecuador, and she's from the Caribbean islands. To get into the Filipino festival spirit I wanted them to try our delicious Filipino dishes, so we choose to buy it at the Filipino Grill. We ordered 3 combos costing $24. Wasnt' bad,...but I must say the dish was quite pricey for a scoop of rice and 2 bbq sticks. And the meat my boyfriend got was more sauce then anything. Felt ripped off!!! As for the bbq sticks they had run out and told us to wait as more will come. So we paid and waited for a good 10 min. Finally the bbqs arrived, and the lady that was serving us continued to serve the next customer in line making us wait longer. So my boyfriend said "excuse me, could you please get our order of bbqs?" The lady totally ignored us and continued to serve the customers. Again my boyfriend said "excuse me" to get her attention. The lady looked at my boyfriend and yelled "CAN YOU SEE I'M SERVING SOMEONE HERE!!" I was in shock of how RUDE this woman was!! My boyfriend said " Excuse me who are you talking to like that? I ordered 3 combos, and already paid. We've been waiting here for the bbqs and you have the nerve to yell at me?!?!" The lady had the nerve to respond "well I only have one ear!" instead of apologizing. I was SO EMBARRESSED ! "I" had to apologize for them. What the lady SHOULD have done and the RIGHT way, was to finish serving us first and then continue with the next customer in line. The lady shouldn't be working there dealing with customers if she can't give good customer service. THIS makes their business look bad and THIS is how you lose your customers. I wouldn't even give it a star, but it doesn't give me that option. I'm really really disappointed with this but whats more disappointing is that this is a memory my guests will never forget on their first Filipino event!! Such a disgrace!!! I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!

Not the most welcoming place. The woman is rude and looks like she doesn't to be there. The food display is really bad. Doesn't make you want to eat anything. Plus it's only pork. I got a combo. Rice +any 2 dish....she gave me more sauce than meat!! I do not recommend and I will definitely not be back.
