K	Katie Turkel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The absolute best of the best is available here. I came with my wife and two friends for a birthday. They surprised us with rice pudding (birthday girl’s in a martini glass!!) and we all enjoyed our individual meals immensely. If you get a chance, run, don’t walk there. You won’t regret it. Afghan tandoori chicken is AMAZING!! I will be be back.

Another couple came and sat at a table on the patio about ten minutes after us. Waitress disappeared for 20min. We were started to wonder if we should stay, because if they were going to take this long to take our order, how long would it take to get our food? The waitress finally came out to take the other couple’s order! The bf and I left, but not before I told the waitress that we were there first and she completely forgot about us. Her response was “okay,” no apology nothing. We were really looking forward to trying their food and were sorely disappointed by our treatment. Terrible service.

Their portions are generous which is great when you want to share meals with family or friends. I saw someone in the reviews saying that the food was “average”, I definitely disagree. Food was tasty and full of flavour. Plus, the experience was great as the servers were friendly and observant. Also, the seating area was comfortable. My family and I will definitely come back :)

There were absolute saints by letting us sit with our little puppy outside on the patio, even though they're not advertised as dog friendly ( we tried to go to El Jefe Restaurant next door which actually is advertised as dog friendly but the hostess was pretty snotty and there was a 40 minute wait) they came by with a full pitcher of water and a little bowl for our puppy, which the waiter thoughtfully poured for him, and were friendly and gracious towards us AND Eddie. Great food, stellar service, good pricing for all the food you get...will definitely be back!

I must say, the service was excellent and Ram made sure that we were well cared for. We might go back to try some other eats here someday - definitely not the thali though.

With a huge smile, and genuine kindness we truly enjoy every experience. The food is superb, our favourites are the by the lake platter(s), and Thali. I understand some people feel the prices are high, however I argue you get more than you pay for at this establishment. Would 10/10 recommend this spot to anyone looking for good healthy options for solo, date night, or family meals.

We’ve been here several times over the past few years and have always had a good experience, but this time was stand-out. We ordered the By The Lake Veggie Platter as an appetizer (not shown in the photo), then Butter Chicken, Baingan Patiala, and By The Lake Special Paneer Lababdar. Between four people, there was enough food with some left to take home in a container. Everything was amazing - the Baingan Patiala was particularly outstanding. It’s a dish that is difficult to find elsewhere. Above all, the service was fantastic. The man serving us was really kind, gave good suggestions, and answered all of our questions about the dishes. The prices are reasonable and the menu has a wide, diverse range of options. We feel really lucky to have such a homey, outstanding Indian restaurant nearby. Highly recommend!

We slowly enjoyed a bottle of wine over dinner and we felt zero pressure to leave even though we lingered and chatted the night away. The butter chicken, mattar paneer and Gobi was the perfect choice for our table of two. We opted for plain naan and rice to round out the dinner. The bowls of food seemed small when served but there was no way we could finish them! Flavour was perfect on all dishes and they tasted heavenly! I will be back!!
