Kathy is a fantastic dental hygienist - I joke around with friends and coworkers that Kathy is not only my hygienist, but also my tooth fairy- because she really is. Kathy takes the time to properly clean my teeth but she also ensures I leave with a bright smile on my face, both literally and figuratively. She has a very warm and friendly demeanor. I really enjoy my check ups with Kathy. She doesn't rush the cleaning and takes the time to discuss preventive measures and ways to ensure cleanliness of teeth and gums.. Besides that, I love chatting with Kathy. I wish I had more time with her to discuss food, travel and life. Thank you Kathy for always leaving a bright and shining smile on my face.

I've been going to Dental Hygiene Solutions for a few years now - I feel confident in the familiarity with which I may write about their services and I do believe this translates into a credible, reliable review. Kathy and her entire team are friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. I find that a trip to Dental Hygiene Solutions strikes a perfect balance between respectful professionalism and a genuine friendship between client and employee. There is something to be said for being greeted by name upon entry; it creates a welcoming atmosphere which translates throughout one's time at Dental Hygiene Solutions. The facilities and equipment are clean, the rooms are brightly lit and inviting, and the choice of background music is always much appreciated. It is evident that Kathy has a great degree of knowledge and experience in her field. She answers questions thoroughly and is always happy to provide advice or technique suggestions in regard to brushing, flossing, etc. The fact that Kathy takes interest in her customers' lives, posing thoughtful questions and remembering the details for one's next visit, is both impressive and appreciated. She provides a painless, thorough, and confident cleaning. I must also attest to the similarly-efficient and comfortable work done by Dr. Reuben. He is kind, knowledgeable, and was so gentle that I was surprised when he said we were finished. I would absolutely recommend Dental Hygiene Solutions - in fact, I already have to several others. You will receive a warm welcome, have a smooth and efficient cleaning/miscellaneous work done, and be finished in a surprisingly quick time. Five out of five.

Very disappointed with how this clinic treats UTM students. I booked an appointment for teeth cleaning (with free teeth whitening for UTM students). The university insurance covers part of it and as this clinic is part of student network , they mentioned they cover the rest ensuring 100% coverage. This part was correct. When I spoke on the phone and asked the charges , I was told it will be around $200-300. They submitted a pre-determination form that reflected what they said ( pre-determination form said if they claim $333.30 , receive from my insurance 235.54$ and the remainder $97.76 would be waived). Therefore, based on this I booked the appointment. However, when I was billed, I was billed $444.52 in which they claimed $311.17 and the remaining I would have to pay was $133.35 which got waived. The problem here is that they claimed so much more than the original 200-300$ they told me just so they can make the $300 dollars. Rather than them "waiving" anything, they just bill you higher so they can make everything back and are not then actually "waiving" anything. On top of that, the service was fine when I went so I recommended this place to my sister who is not a UTM student. She booked her appointment and when she asked on the phone she was told the same 200-300$. She was even given complimentary teeth whitening similar to UTM students even though she is not a UTM student. When she was billed, she was billed exactly what they said around the $200-300. Whereas, for UTM students they have a different standard when it comes to billing.This type of greediness and so called waiving of fees does not reflect well on the clinic.

Just got done with my teeth cleaning and whitening. Awesome staff. Did not expect a dentist and their staff soo professional and friendly. Will recommend to everyone looking for getting their teeth cleaning and whitening done! The hygienist Tra was super nice and very caring about the fact that it was my first dental visit ever!!! Kudos to the whole team!

Thank you Dr.Reuben and to the staff at this clinic! (I wish I got the other staff names as well) Coming into my appointment I was a little worried since I injured my arm a few days before and was in some pain. Dr.Reuben was patient, kind and thorough while he did my dental work, and kept checking in with me to ensure I wasn't in pain and uncomfortable. He's a gentle dentist! My procedure went well, and the tooth he worked on feels much stronger and healthier. I also appreciate the appointment reminders and fast/easy communication through text provided by the staff.

I was looking for a dental clinic in Mississauga that accepted UTM insurance, when I suddenly came across Dental Hygiene Solutions. I was going to book an appointment but then I remembered that I had already been there for a cleaning about 10-11 months ago (and free whitening which I never got), so decided not to come back again. This clinic heavily advertises to UTM students, so I kind of fell for that. I was given an appointment and the communication process was smooth. Upon my arrival, the hygienist began to scrape my teeth with manual tools (instead of using proper machinery, because they said that they didn’t receive their order yet because of covid). The manual scraping took very long and my teeth weren’t even done yet, so the hygienist abandoned my teeth halfway as soon as her time was up. Not only were my teeth not cleaned fully, I also didn’t receive that free teeth whitening. She charged me in full despite that she didn’t clean all of my teeth. She told me to book ANOTHER appointment, in which I would once again be charged the full amount for another cleaning and IF there was time leftover, she MIGHT do the teeth whitening. It was honestly not a good experience, and I don’t think anything’s going to be done about it.

I was due for a cleaning since I haven't gotten one for over 2 years from a bad experience at another office. I took the plunge and booked an appointment here and I am so happy I did! Tra is super gentle and patient - after getting a cleaning here I decided to get my filling here too and Dr Reuben was so pleasant to deal with! Will make this my go to dentist from hereon.

Best dentist ever- Dr. Josef Reuben. very patient and kind. My kids love him. I referred my friends to him and they are all happy to have him as their dentist.
