★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Imouto staff really care about the women they serve. Great sanctuary for youth of the DTES, supportive and meeting women where they’re at. Provides meals on the daily, support with achieving goals & getting you to where you need to be. I will be forever thankful for my time at Imouto, had good late night chats with staff when I was feeling down, got invited to drum in a drum group with someone else, made bead work, always enjoyed great bannock. It’s not a 5 star resort, rough area & all older DTES buildings have their cons but for women in need like I was months ago it was a blessing. Housing first! & shoutout to T.S & B.B my fave staff there<3
