I was in the Goderich area so I took a photograph of the existing batteries and called ideal supply to see if they had the matching batteries. I was told on the phone that they did so I went into the store. I approached the counter and showed the clerk a photograph of the batteries that I needed. He read a code off the photograph off of my cell phone and sold me two batteries. What he didn’t tell me was that the batteries I had were 6 V and the batteries he sold me were 12 V. I install them faithfully assuming that Napa/Ideal Supply would never have sold me the wrong batteries. Several blown lightbulbs and $2200 worth of burned-out motors later I found out that they did in fact Sell me the incorrect batteries. I talked to the store manager Greg and he seemed empathetic to my situation, however he turned it over to the regional manager a gentleman named Steve. Steve telephoned me and told me that I lied about showing a photograph to the clerk and that they assume no responsibility for their error. In case you’re thinking of doing business with them… I would strongly suggest that you think twice. You will be called a liar if something goes wrong.
