This place and it's employees are lovely! I sent a facebook message to ask if they were open the next day and they replied me at 11pm on Christmas Eve!! You can rent XC skiis, skates (+sharpening) and snowshoes at really good prices, they quickly directed another English speaking employee to us without any judgement and the washrooms are so luxurious!!!

One of the best locations for skating in the city. I wish they could clean up the ice every hour. No matter what skill level you are, you will have a good time.

Such a wholesome experience! They have rentals in great quality. The ice rink is just next to the museum which is convenient for everything. And staffs there are so nice :)

Really nice place to skate on the beautiful Plains of Abraham. There is a heated building to put on your skates. With Covid measures, maximum 200 people on the ring at a time (which is lots, typically no waiting time), and you may only use the building to put on your skates. You must take them off outside.

Beautiful little skating ring. Lights and soundtrack. Glassy smooth ice. Skate rentals available.

Very nice place to skate in the winter. They offer skate rentals, and also for kids they offer skating aids to rent. Nice heated shack to lace up, and if you don't have to rent anything then it's free to skate!

The ring is nice and well situated. The benches outside are a nice place to chill with hot tea and biscuits. Now the very negative side: I rented skates for my kids and me and they gave us lady's skates. I personally couldn't do a whole ring because of the pain on my ankle bone. Both of my kids feet bled! When I told the staff they answered that they only had women's skates for children and that the merchandise wasn't the best quality... One of the staff found it very funny for some reason and suggested while puffing with laughter that they give us plasters instead of a refund... I was shocked and insulted. Would never suggest anyone to rent skates there! By the way, they kept wondering around without masks and with a nasty smell of cigarettes... :(
