The kindest most gentle person we’ve ever had the pleasure of getting to know. Mary is so wonderful. We wouldn’t recommend anyone else. Thank you for everything.

I’m not quite sure what it is but when you pull up to the gate and overlook the beautiful property you’re drawn in. Both my daughter and I ride with Mary and her team.This is more than simply riding a horse this experience is about connecting with these majestic animals and you’ll see the amazing connection Mary has with with her horses, it is truly remarkable. Add this as part of your bucket list. Bottom line.....this experience is a must....whether you are on a girls getaway, couples ride, corporate retreat or something else, Huckleberry Horse Co. will not disappoint.

Her herd is always well cared for and happy, as well as, given plenty of opportunity to just be horses - running, living, and learning!! Our mare is in good hands!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Couldn’t think of a better place for my kids to spend their spring break. The programs are very well thought out and even though they have a set curriculum they are tailored to each individual kiddos needs. My daughters thoroughly enjoyed their time, and will be back for sure! I was especially happy with how Mary handled my daughter with ASD when she was having a tough time and even had a meltdown at the farm. To feel welcomed and not judged no matter what the circumstance makes Huckleberry Hollow stand out far above other programs we have done and other farms we have attended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huckleberry Hollow is my happy place. I came to take some riding lessons as a completely green, adult rider. I spent my first lesson completely enthralled. Listening to Mary describe her relational horsemanship methodology, time stood still.
Mary is passionate about helping humans and their horses. She teaches that true partnership is found by prioritizing relationship above all else. She is part trainer, part therapist. She has an extensive background in horses and is a clear, easy to follow riding instructor. Greatly empathetic, Mary is also talented at understanding, predicting and guiding both human and equine behaviour.
Mary is also amazing with kiddos and folks with special needs. She has a giant heart and drive to help others through equine therapy.
I came for the riding lessons, I’ve stayed for the ‘me’ lessons. And I have SO much to learn with my new equine partner—Charlie—that Mary let me adopt from her herd. How lucky am I?! ❤️
