This branch has friendly and helpful staffs. I got the best service from this branch amongst other branches and other banks. The service I received from this branch sets the best standards for relationship banking. As to bank charges, it's really HSBC policy and has nothing to do with the branch. All banks have charges, and I found HSBC charges are less comparing to the other big four.

Worst bank visit ever. First they messed up appointments for my mortgage application, then lied about it twice. Not sure it's a cultural thing with the bank or people that work there, but will avoid this bank at all cost.

Their attitude is horrible! I don’t know how they train their staff at this location! The girl named Vicky Ng kept interrupting me while I was talking and kept speak Cantonese even though I don’t understand a word and let my boyfriend transfer to me! Do I need to learn that language before talk to your staff? Other locations all can do the thing that I asked for, she just simply refused without even ask anyone else! I really not recommend to visit them!

I went to this branch at 3:59 just before they close to write a bank draft. I dealt with a girl named Jill. She was very friendly and sweet even though I know she was working overtime for me. I told her I came to the branch as soon as I was off work and she clealy related to me and was willing to help. She was very patient and answered all my questions with care. I had a very good impression of her. And can not thank her enough to spare me another run. One of the best branches I dealt with.

They take extra non-necessary measures during COVID. First, they locked the door and ask all the guest who enter the bank to show their HSBC bank card. I understand that you'd like to limit the number of customer in the bank, but is it necessary for customer to show their bank card to a security guard who doesn't wear any uniform? Second, the line is super long. The teller has to handle almost all types of customer request, I don't know why there's only 2 teller and both are handling very complicated case that requires 15 mins / customer? I was forced to visit the branch because my banking needs cannot be done via online banking. But there's many elderly people in front of me came to just ask questions!! They aren't even actually require service in person! OMG, this is ridiculous!

Super inefficient. Waited almost 30 minutes to line up to reach the cashier to deposit a 3rd party check. There are at least 5 other staff sitting in the office without a client...so they can't come out and help to move the line??? No wonder why HSBC is going so much downhill in recent years. Horrible consumer banking services.

I have just found that Vicky Ng is very friendly and helpful, on the contrary of the previous review. She made all arrangements so that I would not have to go back for the multi-step business of mine. Imagine customers' all different ways of communication based on their banking knowledge, I just realized how quite hard to deal with and properly serve. She kept apologizing for the "long" wait. But I do not see the rationale behind hurrying a banker while indulging a doctor. I hate double standard.

They don't respect your time, they don't know their own services, and they're incompetent. -The bank opened at 10, my appointment was for 1010 but the employee didn't decide to show up for work until 1015 -I was there to show my ID to open the premier account I setup online but by 11 the employee still hadn't figured out how to do that -The employee told me he was not knowledgeable about the premier accounts (why was I assigned to him?) but said his manager was but not once did she leave her office to come help -When I told the employee I had to leave for another appointment at 11 he said a premier manager would call me later that day to make an appointment--no one called - It took him 45 minutes to verify my ID but he wouldn't let me leave, and held my ID hostage, until he let his manager look at my ID first. -The website said all I had to do was verify my ID to open an account but even after doing that I need another appointment to open the account I was attracted by the no fee premium global chequing account so I'm going to try a different branch but if it's as bad as this one I will stick with my current bank
