One of the worst experiences I have ever dealt with. I have renovated my whole house with many different contractors and companies and have never seen such unprofessional, fraudulant company. PLEASE look the other way if you are considering whether you should go with HouseMasters or no. Here is my experience with them: They came to my house to provide me with a quote on May 23rd 2020 to remove my siding on my bay windows and back door, spray foam and replace it all with veneer stone. We agreed with the job and we were told they would start on June 8th, 2020. June 7th, 2020 I contacted to find out what time to expect them on the 8th, Patrick(owner) told me he is having problems coordinating the spray foam company and will let me know when he has gotten through to them. Days went by with no word from Patrick. We contacted the manager who sounded like I woke her up, who knew nothing about our work that was supposed to have started on June 8th 2020. She said that she would contact Patrick and get back to us. After many days and many times trying to connect with both Patrick(owner) and Olga(manager), Olga gets back to us to inform us that Patrick is having problems getting the products that we need and if we want the work done, we are to get it ourselves. At this point we should of told them we were no longer interested but we already invested a month and because of Covid-19 it was very difficult to find another company to do this type of work. So, my husband and I went that night June 26th 2020 and found the product with no issues at Home Depot. We contacted Patrick once again but no response, so contacted Olga to inform her that we got the product ourselves. She told us Patrick would be at our house on Monday June 29th 2020 to start the work. My husband took the day off work and no one showed up. We contacted Olga and I was very upset and told her I no longer wanted to do the work with HouseMasters. Olga requested I give her a chance to fix this and get Patrick to start the job ASAP and that she would make sure we were a priority. I stupidly enough believed her. A week later they decide to show up. After about a couple weeks of coming and going as they please and damaging our new interlocking with spray foam, damaging our 2 year old windows, damaging our material/stone that WE purchased, scratching our back deck, they stopped showing up to complete the work. We contacted them many times with promises to show up the next day to finish, but they never did. We eventually gave up. I contacted a inspector to come out to my house to look at the work that was done and to quote me a price for repairs. He confirmed that the job was done horribly and what it would cost to fix. I would need a aluminum company to fix my windows, I would need someone to come caulk everything as water would get into my house, plus to replace some of the interlocking and scratched deck etc.. Then last week February 16th 2021, out of the blue we received a letter from a collection agency to inform me that I owe money to HouseMasters for all the completed work (work is still not complete, it's been since June 2020) and if I don't pay , it will affect my credit. Now I'm being harassed at my work, house and cell for money I do not owe as job was never completed (complete job abandonment) So please,don't make the same mistake I did and RUN AWAY from this horrible company! Just because it doesn't say "Amanda Hines" in your files doesn't mean we didn't deal with you. So, no, I'm not getting you confused with another organization. Arranged to have someone out to our property to review a job. Was late. Called to check on status, sounded like I was waking someone up from a deep slumber -- very confused. Guy came out, gave us a quote, took some photos, said he'd get back to us in a few days. Never did. I called twice, left polite messages, sent emails, no further word. I guess they felt the job wasn't worth their time. But instead of telling us, they just decide to ghost, and not return calls or messages. What's the point? Don't waste your time.
