Best venue I've been too!

Attended a long table charity dinner here. The food was amazing. And the atmosphere was perfect.

I went here years ago with family and had a great time. I especially loved the corn maze, it was great fun.

Beautiful venue, and an attentive, professional wedding coordinator who goes above and beyond for her brides and grooms. Would recommend to anyone who wants the perfect, high end picturesque red card wedding.

I won a free photography session for engagement photos at Hopcott Farms with their partnered photographer Nadine in June. I already had photos booked with another photographer but considering we won a free session and we're looking into having our wedding here we decided to get our photos done at Hopcott farms. I emailed back and forth with their wedding coordinator Rachel Hopcott who was very pleasant as well as emails from Nadine. They seemed very nice and professional and we were so very excited to work with them and have our photos done here. They were booked for a Saturday in September in the evening and the date was confirmed through email both with Rachel and Nadine. Rachel gave me directions on how to get there, what to expect, details about the lighting and also confirmed the date and time, and the last email I sent to her was "sounds great I will see you then!". Today I checked my inbox and there were 2 emails from Rachel. I am a frequent email checker and do so at least once a day so I was very confused by what I was reading. One of them was sent on the Thursday morning before our Saturday shoot and it said that if I did not email back and confirm that I would be attending the photos by noon then they would have to give our photos to someone else. The next email I had was from the same Thursday at 12:03pm, and said that because I did not confirm if I would be attending our scheduled shoot that they would have to pick another winner. I did have a missed call from them Wednesday evening, however because I was at work during that time I did not have a chance to answer. This was the first time they had contacted me by phone as well and I was not expecting it, nor did I have any of their phone contact info. Long story short the first time they tried contacting me was Wednesday evening after 5 o'clock and I had until Thursday at 12pm to respond before they cancelled our photos. I find this quite ridiculous and unprofessional especially for people in the wedding industry. These photos were booked for quite some time, we were very excited and have been looking forward to this for weeks and because I was given less than 24h to respond to her email they have now been cancelled and we are left at the end of summer with no shoot and minimal time to find a photographer while the weather is still nice. As soon as I saw the emails I called Rachel right away which was Thursday around 4, not even 24h since her first attempted contact with me, and instead of finding a solution to the problem or offering to rebook all she did was say sorry we've given the photos to another couple and we can't rebook. She will say she tried to contact me previously to this and I do have an email from her from about a week before the shoot, but in no way did it say that we needed to confirm yet again the time of our shoot. I am very dissapointed in the lack of professionalism, I understand we won a free shoot and am not trying to be bridezilla, we were most definitely very grateful for this opportunity, however, the time frame in which they requested confirmation on something that has already previously been confirmed by 2 people is absurd. They should know that this is a special time and milestone in someone's life and be more accomadating so couples can have a great experience. Our experience was ruined and we now are without a photographer and photos. As someone who works successfully in the service industry, I am very happy that their poor business skills in communication and customer service have surfaced before we decided to have our wedding here. O

One of the best barn venues in the lower mainland! Perfect for any couple looking to have a country wedding! Lots to see with expansive fields, mountain views and petting zoo!

Our friends got married here. They have wonderfully helpful staff and a great farm venue. The bride and her party can get ready right at the venue in a stunning dressing room, saving all that stress on getting to the venue on time!

We had our wedding here this past Saturday and can not say enough about how incredible the venue was! Rachel was there every step of the way to answer any questions, walk us through the venue, as well as helping out on the actual day to ensure everything went smoothly! We opted for the hay wagon ride for our photos and it was the most incredible experience ever! We highly recommend Hopcott Farms to any Bride or Groom looking for an amazing venue!
