About Holsom Equine Rehabilitation & Conditioning

It all began with a dream…..Hilary first discussed the need for a conditioning & rehabilitation facility in Southern Alberta in 2008. At that time it was merely a dream. Fast forward to 2020 and that dream is becoming a reality! Hilary, born & raised on her family’s ranch south of Suffield, began riding at a very young age - checking & chasing cattle along side her father. Not long after she became involved in 4-H & then her true passion, barrel racing. Travelling all over Alberta & Saskatchewan competing in the CCA,CRA & ABRA associations she quickly learned the value of keeping her horses in top shape. Hilary has completed her Equine Science certificate and is currently working towards her Equine Science Diploma & Equine Sports Therapy.

Holsom Equine is truly a family affair for the Blanchettes and every horse is ensured to get plenty of treats from Jerrod & Hilary’s two girls, Kate and Tessa. When the girls aren’t helping around the barn you’ll find them sneaking treats to anyone that will come to the gate for a visit.

Hilary & Jerrod’s goal is to keep the business small so every horse that comes into the facility gets to leave feeling like family.
