Other posts sounds fake. This company pay significantly less among others in the same line of work. Micro management and dramas among staffs are insane for such a job. Part time staff are expected to be on call with less than 6 hours notice from my experience. If you deny any on call or drop a shift even with weeks of notice, the part time manager Laurie will record it against you in the future. The turn over rate is extremely high, average looking at 6-8 months here because they will just hire anyone with a clean record and most people don't know what they got themselves into. Your job duty as a support worker is to babysit the mentally disables, behavior tech is the same as support worker with a glorify title. It's a very stressful job if you never worked it before or if it's not your passion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am pleased to have this opportunity to say I do enjoy working with Hollyburn Family Services, the owners, the facilities managers and the program staff at the houses. I have been doing contracting for quite a number of years and have found everyone at Hollyburn to be fair and reasonable in their expectations, and understand when things get complicated. For Hollyburn I do initial program preparation and continued maintenance to program houses for incoming or changing clients. The program requirements can vary substantially, but I have always found client needs to be of the highest importance. I also agree with Hollyburn that helping the kids that are less fortunate is a good thing.
