I would recommend that anyone reading this review who is considering counselling contact Ocean and see if her approach is a fit for them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I started seeing Ocean at an extremely low point in my life. Job stress, family stress, life stress. I felt like I was drowning. After a few sessions with Ocean, I was able to see how I was not setting clear boundaries for myself. Trying to please too many people, left me extremely unhappy and dissatisfied. I began to make choices based on my ability to 'happily' accomplish them. I still have moments of stress, but now I also have tools to deal with them. I whole hardheartedly recommend Ocean as a Councillor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During Ocean’s Open Heart / Open Mind mindfulness course, I learned multiple different meditation techniques, mantras and breathing exercises that I rely upon daily. Before the course, I was not able to open my mind and embrace my own thoughts without judgement. The course has helped me to access a higher state of consciousness and self-acceptance. I look forward to my meditation practice and know that this will be a core part of my life for years to come.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It has been a joy getting to work with Ocean. i have learned so much from her courses. She shines a light in the cracks and is both down-to-earth and incredibly profound. In her classes, Ocean creates a space that feels safe and invites us to show up as our vulnerable selves and learn and shift. Ocean has helped me notice and work with lifelong patterns and beliefs, creating space to imagine something different and feel more joy. I would highly recommend working with Ocean individually or in her group classes.
