★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aaron is the man. He really went above and beyond to get our project done. Despite the fact that things kept changing, he rolled with the punches had an ability to adjust on the fly and keep on going. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Once the company had full payment the work became rushed and shoddy. My property was damaged and 5 months has passed without it being fixed or returned. My yard was not completed or put back the way it was prior to the work being done. Not impressed at all. Lesson is to not pay full price up front. Once they have your money customer service becomes awful.

Thanks guys, you are all great and it was a pleasure meeting with you and having you work on my home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As another reviewer mentioned, Aaron and the team at Hodgins worked very well along with allpro to get my water and gas mains dug up and re-run. Work was done with quality consideration and the final product was perfect. I would highly recommend Hodgins for your excavation projects.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a broken sewer line that these guys came to repair and I was impressed with the ability and willingness to work in a confined area and the attitude of everyone at the worksite. They were very accommodating with my concerns around neighbouring properties and had very little manoeuvring room. The machine on site was appropriate for the job and they did a nice job of adapting to issues that were discovered during the project that were out of their control. Good work guys.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently had an issue with a broken water line from the street, and I was given a recommendation by a friend to call Hodgins Excavating. This was one of the best leads I have ever had. I can’t say enough about the work that was done for us and the way we were treated. Aaron the foreman was amazing, highly competent, very professional, fair-minded and reasonably priced. He finished the project on time and on budget, despite several setbacks due to unforeseen circumstances – he was true to his word and in fact went above and beyond. The rest of the crew were very skilled at their work, polite, accommodating and pleasant to deal with.
I did notice a poor review and the response from Hodgins. All I can say is that if anyone has a bad experience with Aaron, then it is very likely a result of their own doing, their attitude and approach – I have been in business for over 50yrs and have dealt with many contractors, sometimes on multi-million dollar projects, and I can say unequivocally that Aaron is one of the most straight forward, clear minded business people I have ever dealt with. Pay no heed to the poor reviews, go with Aaron, and you will not regret it.

They were on the job early and worked through the brutal hot days to make it happen. They left our property in better shape than it started and were super communicative all the way through, making sure each piece of the job was to our liking and specification. I would and will hire them again in a heartbeat. I am very appreciative of businesses who work in the same manner I run mine, and Hodgins were awesome. ?
