About Hillsdale Baptist Church
Our ministries and programs at Hillsdale are designed with a purpose - to help people be faithful followers of Jesus Christ. We have a wide range of ministries here - some are obvious, and some are a bit more behind the scenes. A number of ministries happen here on a Sunday morning, and a great many ministries also take place all throughout the week.
So, take some time to become aware of what goes on here at Hillsdale! Take a tour of the building. Talk to the staff or someone you know who is involved in the various ministries. Get involved where you can.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am happy to be able to attend this church while at the RCMP Academy. They actually have a bus pick us up every Sunday which is very much appreciated. Teachings are well prepared and well communicated. Worship is well balanced although they could perfect the sound.

Great music, great staff, great sermons; Pastor Bill is not afraid to tackle controversial social subjects that both challenge and encourage those that would hear them. This is a very large, very busy church, so it's easy to get lost in the crowd. Reach out, get involved in a care group (smaller, personal setting), and you won't regret it.

My girlfriend started going here when she moved to this city. Today we went together, I usually work weekends as a youth care worker and am not always able to attend. On the way out one of their leaders, Tim, stopped me and my girlfriend and asked to speak with us outside. He asked if we were a couple and we said yes we are. He said that because we held hands as we walked into the building that the "statement" that we are making is not welcome in their church and in so doing says that we are not welcome. Holding hands is not a malicious statement. It is a way of showing love and connection. Just as many couples show when walking into church, not just us. This church's exclusionary practices are against the wishes of God. This is not how a church upholds Christian values.
