About Highway host curry house
Ali was born in Bangladesh moving to Toronto, Canada at the age of 12. He completed his education in the Toronto area where he enjoyed school and organized sports excelling at cross country running, swimming and soccer. In 1998, Ali began his path in the restaurant industry as a server in an Italian Restaurant. He quickly realized that his passion would take him into the kitchen where he could use his creative skills making dishes that would delight his patrons. Here is where he began to develop his knowledge of the wine industry gaining experience and the ability to choose just the right wine for the dishes that he now serves. Ali opened his first restaurant in Toronto in 2008. After four years in business he decided that he wanted to start a family in a quieter community and seeing opportunities in Saskatchewan came west where he chose Rosetown as his new home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will start by saying that the food itself was delicious. It is unfortunately their service that let them down. When we sat down and ordered he argued about the heat we wanted in our meal. I guess he didn’t think we could handle hot. Then as the person I ate with is low carb she ordered the papadam instead of rice or naan. So he starts explaining how we ordered a “curry” it was all a little insulting. But I may have decided to chalk it up to a misconstrued attempt at being helpful. Except when our food arrived there was a giant black hair baked into the papadam. Which of course we found by biting into it. It was unappetizing to say the least. We then informed or server of the issue and while he apologized he did nothing to remedy the situation. So from a service aspect I am all together dissatisfied.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When they first opened i only had 6 days left in Kindersley, I think i ate there everyday! One of the best indian cuisines restaurants i have been to! Their staff is friendly and they did great renovating in there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time trying this restaurant, while in town on business. I gotta say, the food was fantastic, the portions were good, and service was good as well. The pakora, was probably the best I have ever had, the Naan was good but not great, the lamb was delicious as well as the tikka masala. I will definitely be stopping in here whenever I am back in town and would highly recommend trying it if you haven't been here before.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have done a wonderful job making the atmosphere in this restaurant so enjoyable. Their renovation work is amazing. The menu is extensive and everything we tried was fantastic. The staff is so friendly and helpful, describing dishes and ingredients that we were unfamiliar with. Our family will be back, and definitely recommend you give it a try!
