Highway 43 Towing

First off, I have to say that the fellow who towed our car was amazing. He was courteous and professional. He made an already stressful situation bearable for us. As for the man and woman who worked in the office I wish I could say the same. We were given paperwork and told to have it faxed to the number they provided to the Highway Traffic Board. My husband called to see if they received it yet and was told they hadn't. They neglected to mention they had 2 fax numbers and the one they provided to the highway traffic board was to their other office. my husband called back again to see what we needed to do to get our car back and was told to call the Hwy Traffic Board and have it faxed to their Mayerthorpe office or have it emailed. He had to ask what the fax number was as she did not volunteer that information, but did happen to mention how it wasn't her problem. While waiting for the Hwy Traffic Board to get back from lunch my husband received an email with the paperwork attached so he called back to the office where the gentleman answered. He started to explain to him that he had tried to send a fax earlier , but would just email it and needed their email address. Before he could finish his sentence he was cut off with the guy telling him that they received a fax with nothing on it, seemingly contradicting what the woman had said earlier since we only sent one fax At some point the woman knew she was being rude because she pointed out that, "there's a pandemic going on you know." These were her exact words No kidding. I get it these are stressful times for everyone. I'm just not sure how that justifies being rude to people who were just trying to get their car back

I called Highway 43 towing after I broke down in Whitecourt and AMA told me it would be a 12 hour wait for a tow, Reid showed up very quickly and loaded my vehicle up. Asked me how I’d be paying and I asked about AMA, they accepted AMA so my tow was completely free for me! He dropped my vehicle off at the shop and drove us and all our stuff to 2 hotels until we found somewhere to stay for the night. The next day I needed my vehicle towed to a different shop and he called to ask if we needed a ride anywhere. Excellent customer service! I’ve already recommended them to everyone I’ve talked to about my trip!

This company provided a wonderful and efficient roadside service. My family really appreciated the cold water that was delivered to us on the side of the road after we broke down. They were very reassuring in their call taking division and the driver was professional and timely. He was great with my kids making them smile when they were upset about being broke down! Way to go Highway 43 Towing!

If I could give zero stars I would! Absolute WORST company to deal with! They charge you double the cost of any other impound in hopes they get to keep your vehicle. As another customer review stated, they are ridiculously over priced. If you want good service I highly suggest you call Mi-Kees towing. He was the first in whitecourt and an amazing man to deal with. He actually values the customer and isn’t just greedy over money. And I’m very happy that I read the reviews so that I can check my vehicle to make sure nothing is missing as the other reviewer mentioned they like to take things from peoples vehicles. That is absolutely horrid. Good thing I know every little thing i have in my car. They also damaged my vehicle and claimed they didn’t which I have every document they do! I also suggest if your vehicle was brought here on police impound. Get a lawyer!!! But whatever you do if you have a choice don’t call them! The employee in the office didn’t even know what she was doing she was so lost and stumbled had to phone the “owner” for every single question. Trust me it’s just a mess, and you will be out thousands of dollars! They charge nearly $2400 for a 30 day impound & Tow. So be prepared. Like I said if you have a choice call another company.

I didn't speak with the office because it was arranged by the fleet company, but the driver was on time, and courteous. He was also very careful with the vehicle and delivered it safely to the dealership in Whitecourt.

A friend rolled their vehicle and the rcmp called Hwy 43 towing to pickup their vehicle. The vehicle was 25km outside of whitecourt. unfortunately they only had basic insurance and nothing was covered so to get the vehicle from the tow company they wanted over $800 for the towing and storage bill!! The vehicle was in their yard for 72 hours and they charged $65+tax/day for storage for 4 days. If you want to be charged more than double the price use these guys. The tow company that picked up the car from them said they are absolutely the worse company in whitecourt and warned us to check that everything is still in the vehicle as they commonly like to take items from vehicles they pickup.

Customer service was excellent right from the moment I called dispatch They had a truck there asap and were able to accommodate 4 passengers and a baby seat for our 4 month old. After dropping truck off at mechanics our driver Nathan took us to our hotel. Highly recommended if your ever in need. Customer service like this is rare now a days
