★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I contacted Highland Plumbing to have my pressurized cold water tank replaced. The invoice I received was from a Doyle Plumbing whose truck arrived to do the work. I was quoted a cost of $585 to do the work which I thought was expensive but I did not know the cost of the tank itself. The work was completed in one hour & for interest I then checked the price of a tank - it was $240 at Cdn Tire. & I checked the make of the tank installed & it was $250. That means I was charged approx. $300 for a service call & one hour of labour - gouging in my view.
